Thank you for the video. You had mentioned in the beginning that I should cut into the sheet rock. The bedroom has mdf baseboard that I haven’t been able to find more of. I think it’s glued on, and I suspect it would break if I tried to remove it. Does that change how you wanted me to proceed? I do have a multi tool, and was planning on putting quarter round around the edges.

Also, the wooden transition to the bathroom (it’s the same as in the hallway) – am I leaving 1/4” or going right up against it?

Thank you for such a detailed explanation.

I have a question about the entryway to the bathroom. I thought it was a similar transition, but it’s level. I’m going to assume that I would line up the boards even with what’s been done with the subfloor, then add a transition on top, because there will be a height difference.

There’s an inch clearance between he subfloor and the bottom of the door.

I think I can add captions to the photos.
