Hey there! I’m reading mixed things about underlayment. I’m buying LVP with cork underlayment attached- some places I’ve seen say don’t use additional underlayment, but on the sign at the store for this product, it says use sentinel protect plus underlayment. If it would make it feel softer without causing damage to the planking I’d prefer to use it. Thoughts?

Yes, because it is a cork backing it is very dense. So, using an additional pad will be just fine.

Thanks Joe. From your experience, does it make a significant difference in feel when walking barefoot? It’s an extra $1000 for the underlayment which is worth it to me if it’s a big difference, but if it’s negligible, I’d rather save the money. Thanks again for your advice.
