Subfloor Prep
Hi Joe, we have not sent our blueprint layout in to you yet but I am working on the subfloor prep and have watched your video. We don’t want to use a stapler and compressor due to expense so what other option would you recommend? We have removed carpet and linoleum floor and there is a 1/4 difference so we are putting 1/4 inch OSB over the area that had carpet to build it up. I heard that green coated nails would work. Also could we not remove our trim and add 1/4 round? We would still leave the 1/4 inch expansion gap. Also, Do you know what issues we might have if not removing trim? I will attach a picture.
