Hi Joe,

Thanks for putting your community together, it has been a true blessing. Could you take a quick look at our layout and let me know how you would recommend we start with the install?

The planks we are going with are Malibu Wide Plank from Home Depot and they are 7.17 in. x 60 in. rigid core planks. If possible I would like to have them going down the length of the hallway and not across but will defer to your recommendations. We are doing a full install so every room is getting covered.

Thanks for the quick response. Here are a few images of the planks showing the T&G as well as the URL link to the product at Home Depot.

We have removed all of the old flooring and underlayment and the new planks are going directly over the OSB subfloor. To prep we’ve already done all of the sanding & patching to get everything as flat as possible so I think we are good now but I’m not sure if we need to look at sealing the OSB or not.

Also, do you have any recommendations for the best way to move all of the appliances back in place over the new flooring? Especially when going from the OSB over the edge of a new plank.

  We decided that we would like to start from the living room, mainly because that would cover the most used areas first (and we’re tired of splinters from the OSB!)
  
  Is there anything else we should snap pictures of, or document?
