Fill Dip: Ardex Feather Finish vs. Nxt Level Plus
Hi Joe,
I’m putting a SPC LVP floor down. I have OSB subfloors that are 3/4 in thick. I also added 1/4 in plywood to raise the floor to match other rooms. I have 1 dip that’s about 5-6 feet long and about 3 feet wide. I’ve seen Ardex Feather Finish and Nxt Level Plus mentioned in your videos. I have a few questions.
1. Which should I be using? Ardex Feather Finish or Nxt Level Plus? Would either or be ok for my floor type?
2. As a beginner, do you have a recommendation on which one is easier to work with?
3. If I end up pouring too much, will I be able to sand it down? If so, can I use any type of general sander?

Use ardex feather finish. It is easy to work with, it can be built up in multiple coats and it is sandable.
