Custom LVP stair nosing from vinyl plank
Hi Joe,
I have a few questions for you.
In general do you think that vinyl plank is suitable for using on stair treads and risers?
I have an area where a stair tread is incorporated with the hallway and closet floor.
There is a video on youtube where the installer uses vinyl plank on the stair tread and
riser. He also uses the plank to form a nosing and cover the riser.

He is pretty long winded but basically he routes a V grove in the underside of the plank,
Folds it over and glues it to form a nosing
I was thinking that this method might work in this area and a couple of places on my install
What do you think?
