I have existing carpet with its metal molding. (See picture.) I was wondering if I need to remove the existing linoleum so the new planks will be lower or replace the molding. I also was wondering if there is another method.

Is the plank being installed where the carpet is? And or where the linoleum is?

The plank goes where the linoleum is.

Thank you for the answer. I think I got ahead of myself. I will put together my plan and some details that will affect this part of the job.

Every thing (carpet and linoleum) is on a concrete slab.

      Again, Thanks!
