Blueprint Request
Hello Joe,
Not sure where the best place to start in my attached house floor plan? Hallway is off to one side of the house. It is a split plan open concept with concrete floors, we like one continuous floor layout with no transitions except for bathrooms which are tiled.
Looking at Pergo DuraCraft and Lifeproof luxury vinyl wood planks right now. If you have any other good quality brand name suggestions to look at I would appreciate it.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We have decided on the Mannington ADURA Rigid Vinyl Planks and we will be using the QuietWalk Luxury Vinyl Underlayment. I uploaded pictures of our bare floor to the Mannington Virtual Decorator on their website to actually see what the floor would like like in our house. Amazing! We could adjust the planks running in any direction and fine tone our color choices. This was exactly what we needed to help us finalize and decide on the direction and color of the planks.
Thank you for your link to the BEST and Worst vinyl plank video. That really helped us make our brand choice.
We have decided that the planks would look best running long side East to West layout using our floor plan as top is North.
Where would you start the layout?

Hello again,
I uploaded an updated floor plan with plank direction and size information. Our LVP are on order and we will not receive them until next year mid Jan! All the flooring stores in our area do not carry this line on hand and it has to be order from the manufacturer. Mannington website and documents does not indicate where the tongue and groove is on their planks but have found a few pics online. Hopefully you still have a few scraps around to verify the tongue and groove position on the Mannington ADURA Rigid planks.

WOW! I just watched my blueprint video and I’m impressed, captivated, intimidated, overwhelmed, and challenged but not scared. I never let fear stop me from my dreams, hopes and projects. With your detailed planning information and confidence you project through your videos along with any one-on-one consultation I’m sure I can handle this project successfully and have a professionally looking outcome.
After watching dozens of your University videos, I made three predictions of where you might have started the layout with my floor plan and this was one of them! I’m in floor demolition and floor preparations right now but will take many photos to show you the progress throughout this project.
