    Thanks, Joe. Sorry about not being more clear in my original post.

    The engineered hardwood is only in the hallway, kitchen, dining room, and part of the living room. The bedrooms and rest of the living room are carpet and the laundry room is bare concrete at this point. Everything is on a slab. The doorjambs are all painted white.

    That said, we’ll have to remove the engineered hardwood.

    So at this point I think I’ll try wood filler or caulk on the doorjambs and see how it looks. Worse case I’ll rip it all out and replace it.

    Do you have any recommendations on removing the engineered hardwood and glue? Not sure how often you’ve been blessed with that task. ????
