    Hi, Joe,

    Hope all is well.

I will be ordering LVP very soon and I have a quick question for you. I am planning to install LVP (AduraMAX) – 1000 sq ft – on the second floor in a house in Florida (the house was built in 2005). The subfloor is plywood.

Based on Mannington, I do not need any type of underlayment, but the supplier is suggesting a vapor barrier (5mil) to be installed. Do I need to install that or can I just install the plank on the plywood.

    Thank you in advance

    JF

No vapor barrier is needed in this situation.
