Underlayment?
We are getting ready to install our VPF and the directions state that an underlayment is NOT required and doing so, can void the warranty. However, I’ve seen many, many YT videos that say, you should still put down an underlayment. The subfloor is OSB. Carpet is up, tack strips are gone, and the floor is ready. Thoughts? Thanks!

does it have an attached pad? If it does then I would not use anything else. If it doesn’t then I would use a pad.

Thanks Joe, for your reply. Yes, there is an attached “pad.” Very thin. It’s a 5mm plank.

It is really going to be up to you. If you did double up I would not use anything other than quiet walk pad.
