I’m ready to put the quarter round trim by the sliding back door and front door. I don’t trust myself enough with a nail gun to hit the 1/4 inch expansion gap. You mentioned in one of your videos hot glue. Can a crafters hot glue gun work? What other kind of adhesive could I use?

You could use silicone and use tape to hold it in place until it dries
