Joe, I’ve watched your video on transitioning to carpet but my question is about the flooring side of that transition. As a refresher, see the attached document. There is a long section of the kitchen floor that meets carpet in the family room, including a curved portion. I understand from your video how the carpet side is handled, but do I need to use a transition there to hold the flooring down and prevent the last row of flooring from possibly separating and moving away from the rest of the flooring?

Paul, you are going to need to either use a flexible transition or not use one at the carpet and the curve. You can glue the joint of the last row if you are concerned of it coming apart.
