Tips for removing ceramic tile

Hi Joe,

I have about 300 square feet of ceramic tile in kitchen. This is all on top of 1/4 backer board which is mortared to OSB subfloor. I need to remove it all. Two question: 1. Any tips/tools/techniques you recommend for this work? 2. Would you recommend I then cover everything with Luan underlayment before laying vinyl plank?
