Threshold with tile
Hi, Joe, our installation is going pretty well thanks to your blueprint, but we have a question about thresholds. We have 3 doorways where our vinyl plank meets porcelain tile in our bathrooms and laundry room. We are using Mannington Adura Rigid, and our tile is more than twice as thick as the plank. What kind of threshold would you suggest using? We are thinking of using a solid surface threshold that is beveled on one side but it would still leave a lip against the tile. And we aren’t sure how to secure it so that the plank still has room to expand. Can you help?
