Hi Joe,

I’ve noticed in your video for leveling dips, you’re leveling the underlayment, not the subfloor.

1.

I’ve got about 1/4” dip to fill. Do you recommend stapling the 1/4” underlayment down first and then leveling? Or would you ever level the subfloor first?

2.

I’ve got a couple chunks out of the subfloor OSB. Is it better to fill these before putting down the underlayment?
