Screwing laminate to a slab with post tension cable
Hi Joe,
I planned on using your method to screw scrap to the slab to secure my install. Then I recalled I have post tension cable in the slab. The shortest tapcon screws I could find are inch and a quarter. I have a healthy respect for those cables and don’t want to hit one. So, at this point I am back to spacers. My baseboard is flush with the slab so I was going to tape them on. I am reaching out to see if there is a better solution,

Yes sir. Would the glued pieces be easy to remove when I need to install the full pieces in their place? This glue seems very robust!

Yes, just need a scraper.
