    Joe-

We’re just reaching the point where we planned to install the Mannington Adura End Cap for transition from our Adura Max LVP to existing tile entryway. The end cap would be nearly level with the tile, which is a little thicker than the plank, for a nice transition. Looking at the end cap, though, we’re concerned that it won’t stand up well in a high traffic area like that. It seems like a pretty thin vinyl layer over thin plastic, and the first piece we opened actually had a couple of dings in the vinyl layer. Any thoughts on durability? Should we be looking at some other method?

It will stand up. Transitions are all trash these days, but it should stand up for you. Is it an end cap or t molding?

It’s end cap. It’s almost exactly the same height as the tile, which means there’s no bump at the transition to the tile.
