Floor dips – tolerance
Hi There! I’m working through the floor flattening process, and I’m very intimidated by the flattening products. I have quite a few small dips that vary from 1/8 inch to 3/16 inch. Do you think those need to be filled? I’m using a life proof rigid core plank and life proof universal underpayment. I also have another dip that is around 1/4 inch. The dip is at the entrance to the hallway, between to pieces of sub floor. I suspect I need to fill that one. The planks in that hall will probably run perpendicular to the hall. When I run the level perpendicular to the hall, it’s pretty flat. The gap is just when I run the level down the hall.
