    Hi Joe, finished installing my floor. Found a spot today where an end joint is popping. Feels like there is a low/springy spot right under the joint that is allowing movement. I have attached photo. Floor is done and there is lots past this point that would have to be pulled up. Any recommendations for dealing with this without tearing up backwards to the spot?

    Was that a drop and lock plank? Meaning, did you have to hit the butt joint down with a rubber mallet? Can you share some more pics of that area so I can see what is beyond that plank on both sides of it?

    Yes it is drop and lock. Here are more pictures. The dry erase marker designated the joint.

    Is that a cabinet to the rightof the plank in the 2nd pic?

    Thanks Joe. That is just the basement door swing open. Floor continues underneath it to end of living room.
