    Hey Joe,

Thanks for the quick reply. We are going to do the East to West installation and both feel really good about the look. Your feedback and opinion was super helpful. I don’t have the physical plank, but here is what is on order:

Here is the link to the instruction guide and images.

Looks like a left to right laying pattern.

Also no huge rush as I’m at least a month out from starting.

    God speed,

    Paul

    Hey Joe,

The plan looks great. Crystal clear. I do have some prep related questions. So our house isn’t new construction, but we’ve lived in it for about 6 years. So as I do this job, I have a couple large objects to move around. In particular, how to deal with a fridge and small piano. I’ve attached pictures. My question with the fridge is how to move the fridge up on to the new plank? For the piano, I have one of the 4 wheeled piano dolly/carts. How do I move that around and get it up onto the new plank once it’s layer? I’ve attached pictures.

Take your time getting to this, next week or later is fine.

    God speed,

    Paul

Working on floor prep. I have a few questions:

    1. You can see the contact cement from linoleum. Heat gun lifted it fine, but its quite sticky. Should I roll some kind of material, painters paper, aluminum foil, etc… over it keep LVP from sticking?

    2. Other than scraping up drywall mud, feather goop fill gaps and low spots in floor, anything I should be concerned about with the type of material for the subfloor or prep?

    3. I cant see if the sub floor is screwed down anywhere. Could it be floating too? Should I screw it down? Seems solid enough.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Thanks Joe. Two quick questions, for the closest bifold door bracket, can I just screw that down thus pinning the floating floor at that point, or is there something I should do to allow the floor to still move at that point? Also for the bathroom sink, I can either cut around it or lift it out and run the board under. (1) how should I cut around it, and (2) is it better to just lift the sink out, install floor, and put sink back. If so, doesn’t bolting it down pin the floating floor at that point?

      Thanks,

      Paul

Only screw the bi fold bracket to the wall, it will be plenty strong.

Mount the pedestal sink on top of the floor. If there is ever an issue you can always add a transition at the door.
