With the holidays coming up I just wanted to get this request on your radar. I was originally supposed to get the flooring this coming week and then start the install mid-December, but the flooring delivery was pushed back to mid-December, so hopefully I will be able to get going on the install around Christmas. Any how, no rush to get the blueprint done so whatever is convenient for you.
Since I don’t have the flooring yet (Coretec Pro Plus 9″x72″) I can’t 100% confirm the tongue/groove orientation, but based on the install literature and videos I am pretty sure it is what is shown below, with a left-to-right install direction.
There are three separate areas in the project, shown as the peachy color labeled Living in the floor plan, the large area with a bedroom, loft, hallway and bathroom, a Jack-and-Jill bath, and a downstairs bedroom. Initial thoughts on plank direction are shown by the arrows.
While not ideal, I am considering a transition at the beginning of the hallway, labeled T-Mold on the plan, so that the plank direction down the hall and into the bathroom is in the long direction. The hall isn’t too long, 15′, so running the other way may not be too bad. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thank you in advance and God bless,
