Where should I start – Post drawings and questions

Hi,

I would like the plank to run east to west and would like to avoid transitions. I am planning on using vinyl plank on the stairs but those pieces have not arrived yet. Do I need to wait on that to start? I have plywood for subfloors. Thank you, Chris W.
