Basement laminate floor completed
This is my finish project. Joe graciously made a nice detailed video
customized for my project. I used the glue down method for holding my
floor in place building the rest of my rows. This made my transition
around the bar island turn out flawless. I needed specific advice on the
aluminum threshold of my exterior door. I followed Joe’s advice and cut
the support piece off from underneath the threshold, which was resting
on the existing concrete . The Oscillating cutoff tool worked fine for
this. I coated the bottom of the threshold with silicone and let it dry.
I thought this might prevent scratches to the floor as it expands and
contracts. Then I slipped the flooring underneath and was happy with the
results. Joe I appreciate the service you provide for your members.
