    Joe,

    Thank you for this wonderful site and for accepting my request for your Facebook group in a timely manner. I probably won’t get any flooring done this weekend, but will likely begin the tear out and preparation. Also, I will submit a drawing to you this weekend for your installation input. I do have a couple of questions now.

    Would you suggest removing all baseboard/quarter round before starting the flooring install?

    After the vinyl plank flooring is installed, is it possible to only install baseboard or should I plan on baseboard and quarter round?

    Hey Danny,

    Yes you should remove the trim and then re install when the floor is complete. Yes, I would just install the base and not the quarter round. You will need quarter round at the cabinets, but no need for it anywhere else.
