  Adding plywood over slat subfloor

  Hi @joeletendre and all. We’re in the process of prepping our floors for laminate. We’re located down in Australia (so not sure how our home builds differ) but our sub floors are wood slats from 1960’s. Our question is… should we be adding plywood sheeting over this sub floor before we install the laminate? And if so, is quarter inch going to ok?
