Yes, I meant to say I’ll run the plank north to south, same as on 3D render. I agree that it looks better that way.

Joe, can you also explain the best way to property stagger planks to make it look more random?

The software I used for the plan and 3D rendering called MagicPlan (www.magicplan.app). I like the application for how easy it is to build floor plans, but unfortunately it only works on iOS devices: iPad, iPhone, etc. Also with the free version you can’t change plank orientation and design, but I think it’s available in the paid version (https://www.magicplan.app/integrations/floorplanner).
