If I did West to East that is where I had floor damage due to water on NON-waterproof flooring and a leaking water to the refrigerator on the opposite wall. That is where I started to take up the planks. I have a upright piano that is sitting along the wall of the stairs. If I did North to South I would have to take up all the floor before I began to lay down the new planks. Does this make sense?
