Hi Joe,

So we took a month and a bit off from our basement flooring job- partially because we got a little overwhelmed. When we removed the linoleum (with a rented floor scraper) we discovered another layer of very thin linoleum underneath that almost looks like tile. The problem is that it didn’t extend through all the rooms or even fully through the bathroom. Perhaps there was a big reno. It looks like some sort of floor leveller was put down where the second layer of floor wasn’t. Im wondering if this is still something we can manage ourselves . Ive attached some pictures but will take more if they don’t capture what you need to see. Do you think we can go the route of applying a layer of thin set to even everything out?
