I looked at the video you sent earlier and I can definitely get the plank slid under the railing, get my line straight and then use a scrap piece over that plank and secure it with a screw.

I think my number one question at the moment is how do I deal with that floor outlet?

I can certainly cut around it but do I need to raise that outlet so it will be flush with the plank? And if so what’s the best way to go about that?
