Thank you for your fast response! We have already purchased our flooring but it wont arrive for a few more days, I can take a picture then. However, it is Core Luxe XD Loire Valley oak. We have a crawl space/ wood subfloor. We would like to go with option 3. I have attached the instructions from the company in case it shows the grove in togue. Thank you again for your time.
