Blueprint Request Please
Hello – When you have time, can we please get input/blueprint of our floor plan? Our “hallway” doesn’t run traditionally across the house. Instead the wall north of the stairs is offset from the hallway walls. I attached 2 pics to show this better. I could snap a line across the hallway and all the way into the kitchen, and then start my planks (planks will run east/west) in the NW corner (dining room area), and then work across the entire house and eventually end up in the bedroom in the NE corner of the house, all referencing the main hallway line. Let me know if more pics would be helpful. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks – Dave

Good evening – I took some better pics of the plank. I believe the tongue/groove are as you drew, but I think these pics should confirm to ensure that we are on the same page. And yes, the planks will run east / west, unless you suggest otherwise. Thanks and God bless. – Dave

Hi Joe – First of all, thank God I found Laminate University because I think our project would have been a disaster otherwise. With your help, so far, so good. I’m up to about minute 39 in your blueprint video, where I am looking at the transition from the laminate in the hallway to the tile in the bathroom. My question is what would you recommend for a transition here (see pictures). The transition is fairly steep (about 5/8″ from the top of the laminate to the tile). Quarter round or other transitions that I know about don’t line up well. Any suggestions?

Joe…thanks for getting this so quickly. I’ve only had time to watch the first 15 minutes. So far it is great. We also are from northern MN and not used to this heat lately. I’ll let you know if we have questions after watching the rest of the video. – God Bless – Dave
