  Big Dip.

  Hi Joe. I’m prepping the LR and discovered I have an area of 5 joists, approx 80″, by the full length of the LR, approx 26′, that is 5/16″ low in the middle. It is a gradual taper. The specs on my flooring say 3/16″ over 10′ is allowable. Suggestions? Thanks, Joe P.

  Thaks for your quick response. I’ve attached a picture with my 9″ straightedge across the dip. The deepest spot is 5/16″ gradually tapering to flush. Total width of the dip is 80″. This dip runs the length of my LR. Probably caused by variance of joist heights.
