    Hi @Joeletendre

I’m almost done and ready to to put it back together and I have the transitions where the laminate meets the floor. The previous transitions between hose hardwoods and the old linoleum looks to be shoe moulding that sat flush to the face of the hardwoods. Now it’s about 1/4 too thick.

I liked before how there was really no bump on the existing hardwoods so if I want to put it back together in the same way what should I do. I was trying to reuse the existing moulding so it matches the finish. I can probably plane down the thickness of the moulding but not sure if that’s then too thin.

Could look at a transition but figured it may look worse. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

This would work great for this situation. They have a color that would match better. It would butt up to the wood floor nicely and you can nail it down or glue it to the plank. I can help with any questions you might have. It will also be a more gradual slope then what you would get with that quarter round.
